Ever since we completed our ten day training in the TaRL Methodology in Bamenda North west region of Cameroon, Teachers from other schools have reached out to the deligation and also to our team requesting that the training be extended to their schools.
The reason why we had to select only seven schools was because resources are limited and apart from training teachers, we need to provide them with material so they can execute classroom activities and occasionally transport to facilitate their work. Besides we will need a larger team of mentors to ensure there is effective implementation on the ground if we must scale.
The results we are getting on the ground is great. The TaRL methodology is already being adopted by governments in Ghana, Uganga and other countries which is a testament to the fact that it works.
Our goal is to take the methodology to the entire country especially to rural areas in the North and South west region where owing to the anglophone crises some schools still remain shut down, where children have droped out of school in large numbers and where those who are in schools are there according to their ages and not according to what they know.
Our cry
We are calling on individuals and organizations who can partner with us to fund this initiative. Our goal is to reach the entire country in under seven years but the emergency right now is reaching to the children of North West and South West of Cameroon where there children are struggling to learn.
We intend to take the methodology to schools and create learning spaces within neighborhoods.
