WHAT YOU CAN DO

The anglophone crises started in 2016 leading to the shut down of schools in most of the north and south west regions. When schools resumed, in 2021, many children were placed in classrooms according to their ages and not according to what they know. Many of them are currently struggling in secondary school while others have dropped out as the foundation of their education is really weak. At this moment, many schools in the region have not resumed because of insecurity allowing many children out of school. The Teaching at The Right level Methodology is a game changer methodology developed by Pratham in India and readapted by TaRL Africa to suite the African context. The methodology has helped hundreds of thousands of children already and is already being adopted by governments in countries like Ghana and Uganda. The methodology is activity based and is guaranteed to help a child read and write paragraphs fluently after 120 hours of literacy implementation and help children do long division operations after 120 hours of numeracy implementation KING ED came into contact with the methodology in 2023 and then tested it at a school in Yaounde in 2024 and currently we are getting good results from a pilot that is running in seven schools in Bamenda in the North West region of Cameroon. We currently want to take the methodology to the entire north and south west region of Cameroon. We need your support. Make a donation no matter how small it may be. volunteer if you are an expert in the methodology, or passionate about education. Donate material, books, printers, computers, bikes, cars or other equipment that can help us move around the region with ease. Contact us or follow the donate button.
